Remember the gentle smiles,
Showing that they were there.
Only the smile a friend could share.
The feeling over the heat
of the radiant laughter.
Would they stay?
Remember the fire deep
watching it burn in their eyes,
feeling it in your own.
The heated word that came
and went with that dying flame.
Doesn�t the fire always die?
Remember the river so deep,
full of their tears
And our hardships.
Your own tear trying to hide
Was it all in vain?
Remember the soft kisses,
ones only a true love can give.
The devoted embraces as they went,
the tears of love when they returned.
Stay together until the end.
What is this end?
Remember the feelings
of all the adventures you had,
all the hardships that passed,
the love of the one�s most dear to you.
The best things in life to remember
Are always there.
The Mask
I look around this hollow shell
And I just want to cry,
Though there's no more tears.
I wish I could die
Though never would I wish
For something so bad to happen.
I see others smile
and wish mine were true,
however, it's not.
The mask I wear is strong
and if it breaks.
What will they say?
I try to act happy
though my mask slips
and out comes the anger and sadness
Sometimes it's just too much,
too much for just me to handle
though, am I really alone.
Then I turn to the dear people
who may not be family,
though to me they are
all that matters.
Then I feel better.
They are my light,
the only light in my darkness
I owe everything to them
my life, love,
and most of all my happiness
Without them here
I am not who I seem
I would not be here.
So thank you,
for saving me from my own darkness,
just like I do for you.
Things Left Unsaid
I hate when people talk about
all that has been left unsaid.
They make it seem
as if it's the end of the world.
However, when your with the one
that seems to make your world whole.
You never seem to say those things
that speak in your head with love.
So next time you wish you said
the things that had been left unsaid.
Remember this one thing
and you never feel bad.
There is no such thing as things left unsaid.
There is only the thoughts that need to be said
later.......
