Okay so the last few days have been longer than hell. Mainly because there have been very little customer traffic and there is only so much cleaning that can be done. So I have basically all the time in the world to space out and let my mind drift into various story realms. Very good for keeping sanity. Anyway, today my mind was visiting Morrigan's Realm when my boss puts her hand on my shoulder, drawing me back to the living, and asks me if I would come into her office. I'm thinking, 'Great, I'm going to get blamed for something, aren't I?' but I follow her because what else are you going to do? I take a seat and she tells me that for the next month she's going to be riding my a** -her exact quote, by the way- for the next month and that she's not going to sugarcoat anything. I'm going 'Okay......' She then goes on to tell me that the reason she's going to be doing this is because this next month is going to be a test and they're thinking of promoting me to Project Coordinator. This kind of surprises me because it's like jumping 2-3 places in the FedEx employee ranks. It puts me right beneath the Store Manager and the Assistant Manager.
So yeah, I'm going...there have been people working here for four years and they're still in Production and I've only been here for 2 months and I'm being considered for project Coordinator? Um...so now I'm wondering if that means I get more money. If so and I get the Promotion +3 then I will have much more moneys than I do right now and mo' money is always a good thing where I'm paying for everything and then saving up for various necessities...like a mode of transportation and whatnot. Anyway, if I seem a little stressed for the next month it's because of the holiday season and that I'm going to be going through workplace hell like nothing else. cool Anyway...um...I think that's it for now. I'm hungry so I'm going to go home. Byes! heart
