Yup, yesterday was my birthday and i turned 19.. i'm almost 2 decades old.. do you know how much this scares me?? Like i feel old, i've seen so much of this world and i wish i hadn't. In the majority of my life on a worldwide scale just not my life specifically there hasn't been a whole lot of good, just bad. If something good on a global scale has happened, enlighten me.
On a smaller scale, with just me and my life. Not a whole lot of good there. Not untill recently anyway.
It's funny though, I say i wish i hadn't seen parts of this world, just yet, but part of me feels i've missed out on some things this world has to offer. There are so many places i'd like to have seen or gone, when i was younger just to be able to say, Yeah I've been there, and i wouldn't be bragging or anything, i'd just be proud of myself to have been somewhere other than where i'm from.
I've never even been for more than a few hours in one place, out of the country. when i was alot younger we went to this playground/park in North Dakota, no idea where exactly it was. but that's the farthest south i've ever been. The Farthest East, Various towns/cities in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.
Farthest West, Edmonton, Alberta. Farthest North: La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
How Pathetic is that. In 19 years Where nearly everyone i've ever known, or have been really good friends with have been all over the world, to places i can only ever dream about going too. And then of course they'd come back and brag and complain about not being there anymore.
*sigh* oh well. C'est la Vie. That's life. Can't always get what we want.
