The internet can be helpful, but it also frightens me to some degree. My brother told me once that you never really have a conversation over instant messenger... it's just really fast e-mail. Psh. Not likley.
When you meet someone over the internet and sometimes go into messenger and do role-play, or something to show your feelings... you never know how many people that specific person has done that with. You could be number 100, but you'd never know. Call me what you will, but I don't go around looking for situations such as these. But it scares me and holds me back on how it could so easily happen. Which is probably why I've never had a online relationship.
My heart was broken only once on this world-wide-web, and ever sense, I've tried my best to be careful and not get myself hurt. But usually, the internet can mask someones true self.
