stolen life
like a candle in the wind
flickering hopelessly against the gale
and for its end draws near
as the life fades from the eyes
i proved too myself
in my darkest hour
that i am not better
than any other man
for my reasons
are no better
for the life that was almost taken
may have brought pain
and suffering too one i do not really know
i still feel the guilt for what i did not do
but i hold joy for i didnt
i kept myself as his better
but just by the thin thread
the hang man will use as my noose
but am i his better
for i could not control myself
as he did not
