Well .. last Sat was quite a satisfying day .. most of my important papers were done so I went shopping with Sheen. Borrowed 3 library books at the Sengkang library while waiting for her. The titles are "Seeker" by William Nicholson, (I loved his other series on the Wind on Fire) "Clovermead" by David Randall and "Singer" by Jean Thesman. Wow .. just realized that all three titles are simply one word each. Well .. about the books .. they weren't really interesting .. though I think "Seeker" is the best among all 3.
Anyways, after that we took the train to Somerset and left the train station only to discover that it was raining heavily. So we went to one of the foodcourts near Centrepoint to eat .. needless to say we got completely drenched but oh well .. I tried the tom yam ramen and it was really good .. haha .. the prawns were sweet, the soup was spicy and the noodles were fantastic .. gotta go there again one of these days .. hehe ..
Oh yeah .. but it was still drizzling after we left .. and since we were already wet, it didn't really make a difference. Went to Cineleisure and got my shoes (at Blossomz) + 3 pairs of earrings (at one of the portable stalls there) .. then headed over to Heeren to get my purse and another pair of earrings at Cactus & Pine.
Headed back home after that with sore feet (I knew I shouldn't have taken my sister's advice to wear heels!) but a content heart! X3
