This month's Donation Items are the Demonic Pendent and the Angelic Bracelets. Also new this month is a new format as to how I'm going to critique. Now you don't have to read my endless banter!

While I'm not a fan of jewerly items in general, I'm glad to see that the number of "bling" has started to increase. What I cannot say about this month's item is that I like them both in general. That isn't to say that one out weighs the other individually.
However, I am starting to get sick of the Angelic/Demonic pairing. I was hoping for something a bit more "neutral" like last year's Emo Bag/Chain Wallet pairing. Yes, you can read too much into it by saying the Emo Bag is for preppies and the Chain Wallet is for punks, but I won't get into that. Sorry, Gaia Avatar Item Artists, but I really think you need to come up with something more original than this Angel/Demon pairing. It's getting old.
Individually, let's start with the Angelic Bracelet. The bracelet itself is a little thicker than the bracelets you can buy from the store, but oddly enough the thumbnail suggests this comes in pairs. It doesn't. Like the other hand-held items in the previous months, you can equip it on either hand and in different positions. All but the hands down positions will cause the bracelet to glow with the white light of purity and enlightenment. You could buy another one for the other hand to give you a pair of Godly bracers, but unless you want to look like something out of an old Hercules movie, don't. In fact, in most of myths I've read, you only need one of these "God Bracers" to affect your whole body. So, unlike the Gauntlets of the last two months, don't bother investing in a second one unless you feel the need to spend that much money. Believe me, because I have spent that much money and found the look rather date. That's right, I spent 5000 gold on a second one just to see how it would look so you wouldn't have to.
It also should be noted that you cannot wear the bracelet and hold either the Staff of Angels or the Demonic Pitchfork at the same time. You also cannot wear the bracelet on one hand and a Gauntlet on the other hand. Why?! It's a bracelet!!
On to the Demonic Pendent. It is pretty much the counter balance to the Angelic Pendent released at the one-year birthday of the first Donation Item. It even functions the same way. One way is with the red light of evil on, the other is with it off. It even has the same kind of discription as the Angelic Pendent in that the glow means you are REALLY evil. Outside of the fact you can actually see the chain and ruby when the light is off, this is pretty much an clone of the original! Not worth it, honestly. However, it is nice to see some "darker" jewerly items outside of the Nitemare Collar. This is probably its only saving grace, as far as my opinion goes.
If you have to choose between the two because someone is holding a gun to your head (or if you have to critique them like I'm doing), pick the one that most appeals to how you dress right now. Both accent any of their respected side's selection of items nicely, but aren't really needed.
