From Our tower of ash and bone
He does watch the horrizon
And today one thing he has seen
came into action
spite filled words of someone who never had a heart
Branded the skin of a new found man
To which she never had claim
as the words of so many rang true
as the spite filled venom of a serpents tongue licked his skin
he laughed and smiled
maintainting His compourse
Keeping the words he wanted to say so many times
to himself, to spare the bloodily tears which he wished to deal
for payment of the blood he spilled in her name

But no Words of pain could he utter
for as the wish rose
thoughts of one he loved raced through his mind
and in honest light he did see
The cheated was never the one he wished to see
So his thought remained upon the one
For so long he loved
But still he sat questioning fate
as he always does
he waited for her return
to speak with her
till sleep caught him
but when he awoke
His love did wait for him
he told her of his love
and she told him of hers
as they do so ofton
But when he called her Beautiful
she called him a lair

a wound so shallow his reaction he thought a mere shrug
for he knew no truth held in her insult
But unaware in his shrug did wound and his love did retreat
so now quietly he waits
to say he's sorry and hold her tight
because of the haunting word that spoken so ofton lost all meaning
seems to hang with his every thought of her
like the bells of a distant place.
