I'm from Mexico, so traditions here are very important but nowadays they are disapearing and people here are becoming more american like (there's nothing wrong with that) but in a certain way is because we are copying all the bad stuff and not the good stuff and if we copy the good stuff it doesn't really apply to us. Our education is getting lower everyday before it was a lot better than American education but now is the same or even lower. What i'm saying is that we are adopting stuff we shouldn't be adopting like halloween, kids now go out in the day of halloween instead of Dia de Muertos, they prefer halloween instead of Dia de Muertos even though Dia de Muertos is the actual calendar marked holliday here. I respect other people's culture and sometimes i even like them, but i just want to be able to keep mine. But there's nothing to do about but to complain about it and continue with my traditions even though others do not.
