Sometimes as I lay worry
I wonder of the things yet to come
Of this I wonder
If I shall be doomed to the mistakes
of a life former of which I have lived
Or shall I become aware of past mistakes
and not let my woes control me?

Sometimes as I lay wondering
I imagine the time
I did not let my woes consume me
and I'll think
If I did not
would you have?
These thoughts of woe have so many
confusions
It is hard to place them all were they
so rightfully belong

Sometimes as I lay crying
I imagine that I doomed
to make the same mistakes
As I myself hath comitted
and as I watch you slip by
seemingly right through my fingers

Someday when I lay dying
You will forget the words of woe
I once spoke to you
and You'll hear the truth as
I so rightfully put it
