One day when heaven and earth meet,
I will see you once again

Watching falling sleet
I remember you my friend

The demands you use to make,
At every dinner time.

But now I lay awake,
Each night…Awaiting you my friend

I dream about your pain
The one that caused you to die

But for now you must remain,
In heaven, even though I cry.

Now my friend,
This poem is coming to an end

Oh how it hurts me to say goodbye
But one day when the earth and heaven meet…

I will see you once again.
