The girl pulled on her clothes. Nothing fancy, but light and easy to move in. She put some armor onto her hands. She didn't want any other armor to resrict her. The she reached out and took her sun staff. She held it for a second, watching it's light dance on the walls. Then she turned to her pets, all standing, watching her. "It's O.K." she said. "If you're scared, you don't have to come. If you're afraid." Slowly, the creatures turned away. The two pixies stayed of course, one settleong in her her, the other floating by her side. Trix smiled. Then she felt a small pour in her hand. She looked down at her little yeti, Orion. He smiled at her. "You, you son't have to come, Orion." Trix whispered. Orion shook his head. There was fear in his eyes, but he was determind to stand by Trix. Trix nodded and smiled. Her long feirce red hair hung down to her waist. She looked over at her other pets. Her shadiw spirit was looking at her, in a way that made her uneasy. "Rocky," she said to her Mochi, "Keep an eye on Magal, O.K?" She looked at the photos on the wall. Of Red, Ima, Kat and Uni. Ima and Uni were asleep upsairs. She'd left them a note. They were too young, it was too dangerous. Kat had set out alreay. And Red, she didn't know where he was. This wasn't unusual, but now she was worried. She hoped he was O.K. At least he was a good swordsman. "I'm doing this for you dad." she whispered to the photo. Then she turned, and walked out of the door, her pixies and Orion with her, her Sun staff in hand. She was ready now. Ready to face the aliens.
