FRIDAY: Woke up with a horible sore throat, so my dad took me to the doctor to see what was wrong with me. After a throat swab and a blood test (HATE NEEDLES gonk ) they were sure that it wasn't strep and that it would be gone in a while.
SATURDAY: Woke up with a burning sore throat, and a fever. After a few hours of watching movies on Comedy Central and sucking on Halls throat lozenges, mother decided to try and sweat the sick out of me. To do this I was given a "hot todey" (warm tea, lemon, honey, and a tiny bit of alchohol, which tasted terrible) and then wraped in three blankets while wearing a track suit and left there for a few hours (can you say TOTAL HELL!?)
SUNDAY: After the most gruelling time of my life I was still feeling terrible, and running a 103 temperature. I tried to tough it out but later that night I was worse than ever, and taken to the Emergency Center. While waiting to be called in, my stomach began to turn violently and I rushed to the bathroom (you can probably guess what happend next so i'll just leave that out xp ). Anyway after that little episode, my fever finaly broke and I was taken back home.
MONDAY (TODAY): Woke up this morning feeling a bit better, but my throat was stilll burning and I was running another fever ( stressed ). So I went back to the doctors ofice, this time making an appointment with Doctor Alison (the good doctor). He determined that it was strep and prescribed penicilen tablets. So now i'm home drinking poweraid and popping pills until I feel beter.
