Another poem....
They tell me “Don’t fall”
For I’ll never rise
I’ll be caught by grief
And meet my demise
They tell me “Don’t love”
I’ll end up in tears
I did not listen
I did not care
“Don’t be a fool”
They say to me
“Trapped you will be
And never free”
They say, “Stand on your feet
Don’t fall in love”
But my heart maintains its beat
And I know I’m a fool
