Dear Journal,

Friday, October 6, 2006 I was involved in a wreck. I'm okay but my car is really messed up. The adjuster can't look at it until Monday, so until then, I can't really say anymore.

The accident happened on a busy intersection during lunch hour traffic. I didn't react in enough time and ended up rear-ending a woman in an Isuzu Rodeo. I have a Hyundai Elantra, so the nose of my car went under the butt of her's. Her SUV had almost no damage (maybe a dent and paint scrape). My car was undriveable- it buckled the hood and smashed the grill.

I was written a ticket for following too closely.

I hate myself.

I still haven't felt anything yet. Am I that cold?

I swore to myself I'd never be involved in an accident or ever get a ticket.

My Grandparents aren't mad about the car thank God.
