Gosh. We've had this whole week off of school for Fall Intercession but it's annoying because I still have softball practice. And I warn you do not be fooled by the name, the balls are anything BUT soft. I was up at bat and one of our coaches(for pitching too) pitched at me. It came towards me many times, we learn to jump away. But today I was slow in my reactions, I moved my left leg back and the ball bounced flying up at me, hitting my calf. After that you would think I would get smart about it but, nope, not me. The ball flew up a second time and hits my shin and whats more is it kind of hurts so the taers come to my eyes and this really fustrates my, and annoys me more than getting hit. But I finshed off and didn't need to practice for the rest of the 10 minutes of practice.
Luckily, though, tomorow we will start earlier, at 12 instead of 2:30 and then go down to Pahoa(about 9 miles away) and go to the pool they have and swim instead of our usual practice.
