In a world where love is blind,
In a world where love is lost,
In a world where love is long forgotten,
You’ll find a girl.
A girl, who loved, and lost,
A girl who is broken to mere shards,
A girl who now knows nothing but tears.
Terrible, terrible tears.
Tears that rake at her every existence,
Tears that rob her of every good feeling,
Tears that blind her eyes,
And there’s her hands.
Her hands, with sharpest claws,
Her hands that tear herself apart,
Her hands that leave her scarred and harmed,
But she doesn’t feel anything.
She’s numb,
Unfeeling,
Not a thing,
Nothing at all.
But inside, she’s begging to be helped,
Inside, she’s begging to be held,
Inside, she wants love, care, and attention,
But who would ever give it to her?
Who would ever want to love this pathetic being,
Who ripped out her soul with her own hands,
Who pushed every good feeling from her heart,
And left herself to tears.
Who would ever be kind enough to hold her,
To guide her,
To love her,
And to call her his own?
In a world where love is lost,
In a world where love is long forgotten,
You’ll find a girl.
A girl, who loved, and lost,
