Hanging from the roof,
With A rope around my neck
Wrists cut and bleeding
You say its murder; I say where is your truth?
Shock fills the town
People stop and stare
Looking at my dead body wondering why it’s there
Mother approaches, her eyes filled with tears
Cuts the rope with a pair of shears
She won’t touch me she’ll just let my body drop
Grabs a bloody note attached to my top
Inside she reads nothing but “There’s no such thing as happiness”
The story goes that fateful day
A rumour spread throughout the town
Leaving me with nothing, not a smile not a frown
For one so trusted killed me
But she murdered me differently
She did not harm me physically
But on the inside she raped and tortured me
No more hate no more dread
A whole lot of nothingness because I am dead...
