Well, Ro and I have been officially canned from the lingerie place! *Throws confetti and yells the celebratory 'woot'* Yes, we got fired because the boss people wanted to blame their bad business decisions on us and they didn't want to pay us $7 an hour anymore. Funny thing is, we got let go at the same exact time. I wish I had a camera to tape the whole senario. When the boss man asked for our store keys we just placed them in his hand and had to restrain ourselves from dancing and high-five-ing in front of him. There was no 'why are you firing us?' or 'What did we do?' We just smiled at him and started packing up our stuff and resumed life as though he wasn't there and as if the whole situation was nothing more noticable then a particle in the air, which is exactly how it was. As soon as we were out of earshot, we just bust up laughing! I think we laughed for a good 20 minutes solid, didn't we Nekoro? And then we kept cracking up every few minutes.
So to celebrate that momentous occasion, we called up Amary and conducting a ritual very much like the 'high school movie nights' that we had every week with the Coven and the Boyos. That brought back good times. We "watched" Rent and we talked of everything and nothing. Good times. We all decided that we are going to have to do this more often even though all the Boyos are currently scattered all over the world at the moment. It was a echo of a time that was the most comforting to all of us. Huggles for all the Coven and Boyos.
Anywho, nobody cry for us. I already had another job on the works and it came through and I'll be making more than double than what I did with the lingerie shop. And Nekoro has something on the line too I believe. So we will be okay. I start at my new job next week after I get back from California. Oh I am going to revel in sunshine and Mickey Mouse-ness. heart
Yes, dearhearts, I'm going to Disney Land for the first time in 9 years. Wow...it's been too long. I'm going to all of my favorite haunts such as the old Peter Pan ride, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Space Mountain, and the Mattahorn. *Grin* And since Mom doesn't like rollar coasters she is getting dragged with me. twisted Lord and Lady! I'm evil sometimes. ^^
