Normally, I'd start out my journal by introducing myself and all that jazz. Not today, though. I'm here to vent about those who think homosexuality is wrong. And I guess about idiots that try and win a debate against someone who greatly surpasses their level of thinking.
So. Today was my first day on Gaia with this character, right? And I'm just sitting around, talking to the few people that pass by and catching bits and pieces of others' conversations.
This guy keeps coming up to me, talking to me about nothing really over and over again. We'd chat, thyen he'd scuttle off; he'd come back, chat, then scoot off again. Only did he decide to stay when a man came a-walkin' by, speaking very intricate, yet irrelevant things.
Few minutes later a boy (I shall refer to him as a boy because he was no where near having enough maturity to be called a man) came by as well. This boy obviously did not like what the man was saying (though he couldn't understand a single word of it anyway), and he began to "cuss out" the male. Not a very good idea. And I shall tell you why. Besides being one of the twinkiest people I have ever encountered (I think I was about to die from his horrendous grammar, punctuation and the like), he could not say anything other than how "gay" something was, and teasing me about my PINK (NOT PURPLE!) hair.
It was rather hilarious to watch, as well. A band of twinks had joined together to try and overpower the man, I guess you could say, who was still verbally abusing them with words they could not even begin to comprehend.
If you're asking now, "Well, what does this have to do with homosexuality?" Then you probably didn't get any signals I was trying to toss out there, if I was tossing any out there in the first place. The very educated man was in fact, homosexual. More power to him, frankly.
There's nothing wrong with loving someone, whether they're the opposite or same sex; no matter what you believe in, or what your god says. Love is love is love. It doesn't change because you are intimate with someone of the same sex.
