Shadow
You do not hear me
You do not care
But you know I'm always there
When you look into the light
or are in the darkness of the night
I stand beside you no matter what the cost
to me there will be no greater loss than to see you crying there
I will never call your name
or whisper in your ear
to tell you things you needn't hear
I do not think the way you think or see the way you do
but to me your always you
You do not hear me
You do not care
But I'm your shadow and I'll always
be there
