Okay, so I was going to drive my mom home from Kroger for the first time...
I get in the driver's seat, turn the car on and go to shift it in reverse...
The gear shift won't move!
I move the steering wheel up and the seat back and try it again, cuz maybe I was blocking something, I dunno, but that doesn't work either.
So my mom and I switch places, and for her it works just fine!
So I'm like, hmmm, maybe it was a coincidence.
We switch places again and it still won't move!
She tries to move it from the passenger's seat and it won't move for her now either!
So we switch again and she can move it just fine.
It kinda creeped me out that it would work except for when I was in the driver's seat so I took it as a sign.
I did not drive that night.
Whew.
Does that seem a little freaky to anyone else?
