She thinks I am. We watched this one show on Animal Planet a while back, about these two environmentalists filming the mating dance of the Japanese crane. Then she says- "Claire, I can see you marrying someone like that." (indicating the guy in the show. Then I say "o_O What?! I'm not gonna marry a tree hugger!" Then she.. actually argued, saying that I probably will.
...what?
Now, don't get me wrong *coughpleasedon'tshootmecoughcough* I have the utmost respect for environmentalists, and what they do. But.. that guy... Not my type. I like meat. I rather enjoy it.
My mom, on the otherhand, when I told her about Steve Irwin, she went on for about 5 minutes saying his death was a waste, and she thinks that preserving the environment and everything that Steve Irwin stood for is going to go down the drain.
I'm... sorry, but it's not going to. There are other big influences out there. I just can't think of them, but there ARE. He was just one of the big ones. Hey, look at the guy and the girl on Animal Planet, making environmentalist music videos! No, I am not going to marry a tree hugger. He could eat meat or hunt, for all I care. Just... don't show my mom, she will shoot him.
It's all about the Asian-Persuasion, baby.

The DaVinci Code is a very good movie. I need to read the book...
Dammit, I need to vent more.
She starts talking about how wonderful it would be to have a descendent of Jesus on earth. You would never know, unless DNA comes out, and they start preforming miracles. It seems like, that her idea of that JUST came out when the movie came out. Personally, I think it's an interesting concept. She thinks it's true. My brother brought up the fact that it may not actually be true, and she shoots him down, saying that just because it's not in the Bible, it may not be true. Shot down his opinion, with her 'truth'. The book is purely fictional. With non-existant characters, and the author thinks that Leonardo DaVinci left signs on his works.
Ok, end of rant. For sure, this time.
