it's raining and it's hailing, and it's very dark out even though it's only 1:51 pm xp i had to write a poem for school and i'm going to post it, i was wondering what you think of it.
Into the darkness unknown,
They bled it all out.
In the desert, the wind has blown,
No need to scream and shout.
Then and now,
Around the bend,
It's funny how,
Our world should end.
Will we ever know? Where or when?
Bring our world to peace again.
Show us now what you fight for,
Take two steps right out the door.
You can say you're above this all,
It's a lie, we know you'll fall.
Eight year olds with guns and swords,
End up 6 feet deep under boards.
Politics and wild accusations,
Who is under the manifestations?
War and Violence aren't the answer
If not that, we'll die of cancer.
What were you trying to start?
Boxes of war in your shopping cart.
They died because you said so,
How would you feel if you had to go?
We never win so What's the use?
They don't have to take the abuse.
sending them there took away their lives,
how'd you feel when you told their wives?
Stand on the other side, move the lever,
Use some ice, reduce the fever.
Could you tell the country you lied?
Or would you only tell me you've tried?
they'd die for you in the blink of an eye,
If you could, would you even try?
How many skeletons? How many scarecrows?
You're totally unarmed, no guns, no bows.
We're not going to justify ourselves
Just for your advertising
Figurines fall off the shelves
You're in hot water because the war is rising.
Vote or die.
