Today seemed to be a normal day. I was standing outside of art room talking to my friend, waiting for the door to be opened. Suddenly a group of five girls were slowly walking by us. Three were crying out of control while the other two tried to calm them down, holding back tears themselves. They’re conversation was drowned out by there crying so at first from what I had heard I just thought that is was a something that all teens go threw. It wasn’t until later that I noticed that they were all members of the basketball team. A few minutes later the principle came on the intercom and asked for all the girl basketball players to come to the office.

I’m not a basketball player so I didn’t go. But I found out what they were crying for… A member of the basketball team died in her sleep last night.

Her death was a shock to everyone. She was in good health and seemed completely fine yesterday at school.

Her death has impacted the entire school. Not only was she a member of the basketball team she was a friend to all. She was always nice and kind. She treated everyone the same.
