Second, I'm assuming Krishna, that you think that you aren't invited to my house. OH COURSE YE ARE!! pirate That would be so rude of us, especially me, to be like, "Party at my house xd heart biggrin whee cool Oh Krishna, you can't come. You're not invited.^^ YAY!! let's go everybody and leave Krishna alone. blaugh "
~*ANYWAY!! Back to the real reason why I was writing in my journal.*~
Our trip was so much fun!! As I told you we went to our family friend's son, Keith's wedding. My parents have known his parents for 25 years, before their son, who was getting married, was even born!!! Our plane trips were nice, unlike Jessika's. Except, on our flight there, our landing was a little shaky. Everybody had that kind of "Oh crap! Are we going to crash!??!?!" look on their face though no one said a single word.
Thursday night, we chilled at our friend's room which was about 10 rooms down the hall with Keith's parents(Mr. Rod, and Ms. Felice), his older sister(Keisha), and the Keith's grandparents(Mr. and Mrs. Simmons), who were really cool, by the way. Of course, being black people we got all loud. I hope we didn't wake anybody up or get any complaints from the rooms near by. ninja
Friday was the wedding. It started at 3pm, so before that we had time to eat breakfast at the hotel which was unfortunately not complimentary. But it was still good none the less despite those potatoes and the fact that they kept messing my mom's friend's eggs up.
The wedding started an hour and 10 minutes late. I know you're thinking CPT but weddings never start on time, regardless. But I would just like to say that WE all were one time. cool After that was the reception where we had dinner. They served soul food, which was really good. We had chicken, rolls, greens, yams, mac and cheese, green beans, salad, and of course cake. After that reception there was an after party, so to speak. They had more finger foods and some nice jazz music.
Then Saturday morning, we all went to breakfast at the Original Pancake House. There was 14 of us, so he had our own little party room. There was Keith, Mr. and Mrs. Simmons, Keisha, Mr. Rod and Ms. Felice , me, the bride(Uwem), her sister(don't know her name), her mom, and her cousin(don't know her name either). The breakfast was mighty good also. cool Then we all went our separate ways to run some errands.
Finally Saturday night, we hung out at the bar downstairs, the whole lot of us, minus the bride's family.(NO I didn't drink anything) and had some appetizers which weren't that great. neutral (well, my chicken was mrgreen ) We were there for hours just talking, but we had a lot of fun and good stories.
So all in all, it was a good trip. I have other side stories to tell, but this entry is getting long so those'll just have to wait until my next journal entry.
