here it is! my favourite death scene! here's my introduction, in italics. it's omniscient POV (point of view) though it was written the first time from Itsuka's point of view.

Rei Yamagishi has just shot her main target, Itsuka Yasumi. Akoru, Itsuka's partner, witnesses the scene and is in shock. he is also one of Rei's targets, but isn't as important as last time.

Rei laughed as Itsuka fell backwards, landing heavily on the hard floor. she didn't feel the pain right away, though. Rei's maniacal laughter cut through her daze like a knife. all of a sudden the pain hit her, and she gasped loudly, not letting herself scream.
"Itsukaaaa!" Akoru cried, running towards her.
"Akoru...!" she whispered, her vision blurring.
"stay back, Yutaka!" Rei said, turning on him.
he stopped, and Itsuka saw the look of horror on his face as he stared at her. she looked down, to see her blood steadily flowing from the small but deep wound in her chest. it pooled on the floor, reflecting the scene.
Rei walked towards her, her footsteps splashing in the puddle of blood.
Itsuka looked up at her, realizing what she was going to do.
"Itsuka, I'm so sorry!" Akoru wailed, falling to his knees. he felt as though he should've protected her, but he felt too weak.
"it's okay..." she said, smiling weakly as Rei pressed the gun against her head.
"I love you!" he cried, tears streaming down his face.
"I love you, too" she whispered, as Rei pulled the trigger. the pain was much shorter this time, fading away nearly immediately. the last thing Itsuka heard was Akoru's voice, screaming "nooooooo!!" and Rei's laughter again, before everything faded away.

Akoru jumped up, facing Rei. "you killed her! you finally got what you wanted!" he yelled, still crying.
"but I'm not done. tomorrow I'm coming for you" she said, walking away. she knew he wasn't a threat at the moment, and the noise was bound to attract someone.
he watched her go, before running towards Itsuka. he fell in the puddle of blood next to her, and pulled her up. her lifeless eyes stared up to him, as though to say "I'm sorry". "oh, Itsuka..." he said softly, holding her close, "how can I go on without you?"
as he cried, unable to let go of her, he heard running footsteps. Itsuka's father and his own (the Commander (of the army)) ran up behind him, and gasped loudly.
"Akoru, what happened here?!" the Commander asked loudly, his eyes wide.
"Rei...killed Itsuka..." Akoru said softly.
"she's dead?" her father asked quietly.
Akoru silently nodded.
"are you going to be alright?" the Commander asked her father, looking over at him.
"I...I think so... after all... I'm used to this..." he said, wiping his eyes.
"what about you, Akoru?" the Commander asked, kneeling next to him.
Akoru looked down at Itsuka again, and shook his head, "no...I can't handle this..." he said.
"it's okay, Akoru..." the Commander said, draping an arm around his son's shoulders.
"I can't handle this! she's dead! I could've protected her but now she's DEAD!" Akoru wailed, pulling Itsuka closer.
"do you need some time alone?" his father asked.
"please" he said shortly. the other two left, leaving Akoru sitting in the pool of blood, cradling Itsuka, "Itsuka... this is worse than what happened to Renshi... I loved you more than the way I loved him... you were more than a friend to me..." he said, "why'd you have to leave me?"
