I haven't been on a computer in sooooo long. ;_; Let's see....Today's Tuesday, I've been ground for almost three weeks now. Since that Thursday.
Long story short, I got a myspace. Don't give me a lecture on the evils of myspace, I'm not stupid. mad I took appropriate precautions. Anyway, my mom was disappointed that I went behind her back (her words, and she asked me why; Me: I was bored...) and told me I was banned from the computer for at least a week. A week passed, and I asked politely, and she said not yet. My shrinky-dink appointment was the next day, and she said that I should start with an hour with my mom in the room to monitor me. She warned me that it would be my mother's decision when, not mine, because she has four other daughters to watch. Well, I never touched a keyboard that week, and halfway through the next. ;_;
So, Wednesday morning, Mom, siblings, and I are getting ready to go to the library when Jon gets off his cell and informs us his sister's family will be stopping by the house that afternoon. So, when we get back from the library around lunchtime, Jon had bought us Mcdonalds, I helped set the table, and by the time Mom got in we were ready. So, a couple hours later, between around 1:30 and 3, I guess, Aunt Brenda, her two kids, and her husband came in. She brought a TON of clothes for me from Leonard's (her husband's) sister. I took a quick look through them. Some of them are awesome, my fave so far being an A.E. maroonish sweater. Some of them were like: burning_eyes . They live in northern Minnesota, a few blocks from Jon and Brenda's parents. I didn't get much of a chance to look though, because Brenda invited me to come with them up to their house for a week.
Me: eek heart
So, I started packing up stuff, Mom helping me, and we eventually dragged Ben from the PS2 where my sisters were playing KH, (he's permanently attached to everything electrical...It reminds me of me when I was younger. ._.; Anyway, he has a Gameboy ...Crap...It's two letters. xd Anyway, he was borrowing a Gamecube from a friend for the weekend, so we couldn't drag him away from that except to go swimming, which is only a dollar there, and I'm getting waaaay ahead of myself here.)
I'm going to take this moment to say by up north, I mean in a city. It's smallish, like, 5,000, but it's not in the woods or anything like that. Not THAT far.
Anyway, when we got up to their city, we went to Grandma's, and I decided I would be staying there, since I would get the whole upstairs floor to myself. talk2hand Let me tell you, that is one AWESOME FLUFFY BED. Seriously. It a queen sized bed, with two regular pillows and two square ones, and it has three blankets. One sheet, one reaaaaaaaaaaly comfortable velvety one, and one comforter. I wish I could take it home. <333
So, I stayed there until about...Let's see...Saturday?...Yeah, Saturday, and I decided to sleep over at Brenda's house. Ben and Michaela were really happy. I ended up sleeping over Sunday, too. Ben kept hogging the Gamecube. DDD: The friend came to pick it up yesterday. So, yesterday, I brought all of my stuff back over here, to Grandma's house. w00t. I go over to Brenda's house everyday, though; they live really close to the pool. They've known the people across the street for years, and they're allowed to cut throught the yard, and then you cross a street and you're at the pool. x3 Nothing to shmancy, but I like it. _______ | |oOO <Crappy drawing of a slide. xd It's really simple, go up a | | ladder and go down down a short but high slide and slap into ______| | _____ the nine feet, the little square-ish thing. | | Far left and Right=Five feet. | * | Towards the middle but closer to the bottom of the drawing |________________| is the three feet.
Totally worth a dollar. The first day, there were so many water bugs I could have cried. xD The next day, it was better. I met a girl named Shelby, a year younger than me, but she's kind of bossy, so I prefer swimming alone. Starting Saturday, Michaela started teaching me how to swim down. She's, like, 8ish, I believe. Sad, isn't it? I taught myself how to swim, okay? mad Anyways, I really learned the next day, because Brenda and Leonard came with us the next day (Brenda usually sits just outside the gate) to go swimming, and a couple minutes into it, Leonard realized his wedding ring was gone. So, for about fifteen minutes, Ben, Michaela and I, crawled around where I'm going to put the asterisk in the drawing. It's actually more up, but the asterisk goes way to high, then. Actually, we really went around about four sections up there. :Xd Michaela thought that he'd left it at home (he had), so we went around swimming. There were NO bugs on Saturday, just leaves and grass, and there were very few on Sunday. Yesterday there were a few more, but no where near as much as there was on Thursday. Oh, yeah. Since Saturday, Brenda has been lending me an extra pair of goggles. Otherwise, the searching underwater thing would have been, like, impossible. Best thing is, they cover the nose. biggrin DD I love those things. I learned the hard way that you can't dive with those things without getting a gallon of water up your nose. They told me to hold them to my face if I did, and that works. I tried doing a cannonball yesterday, but even holding them tight gets, like, two gallons. xp No more cannonballs. Michaela taught me the pencil....Sunday? Or yesterday? Hmm....Anyway, I was holding my goggles on, and BAM, I stubbed, like, six toes. xd Now that I know that...
Hmm...I'm going back home on Friday.
Oh, yeah. I've been asking for a few days to go on the computer, but she always says not right now, and Ben and Michaela keep going on it. ;_; Anyway, I finished practicing the piano - Oh, yeah, that's what I was going to write about!- and I was lounging on a chair, and Grandma and Grandpa were/are going through the bills, and Grandma saw me and asked if I wanted to go on the computer. (It was on.)
Me: Mm...Yeah. YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!
So, piano. Brenda gave me some of the level one books she doesn't use anymore, and I've been going through them at Grandma's. I'd gone through all three by Saturday, if not earlier, I think. They're amazed. xd I've gone through a lot of the level two book at Brenda's, too. She has the level two book, a silly song book, a popular hits book, and I feel like I'm missing one...No, I guess I'm not. >_O This one sheet music piece that Ben's doing, though. (Ben, by the way, is going into fourth or fifth grade or something like that. xd ) I've gone through the silly song book several times, it's more of a level one thing, and the popular hits book a few times, and I've gotten pretty good at a few of the songs in the level two. I can play Allouette without any music. I can play a song from a level one book, Princess Waltz, without any as well. I went through each of the level one books this morning, and before that I had tried this Christmas Carol book, but that's kinda hard, more level two-three, but I can play Jingles Bells without too many problems. Anyway, when I finished the third one, I considered going back to the Christmas Carol book, but decided to turn it off (Grandma's=electric Brenda's=real) and lounge on the chair. PHEW. That took a long time....Anything else.... OHYEAH
I called my mom on Saturday morning, talked to for a little bit, and mom was like: Catherine wants to tell you something...Something about Kingdom Hearts...What? Oh, she beat some...What? Ansem? Yeah, Courtney, Ansem or something like that. Me: LEMMETALKTOHER
Background story, for those who don't know: I borrowed KH for about a month and a half. So, I started a game, and my little sisters watched me. I got to the part where you have to beat Riku/Ansem, and I was stuck for quite a few days. Before I got there, I let my sisters start a game, since they loved the game as much as I did. My little sisters were playing one evening when Jon was lying on the bed (PS2 is in parents' room) and I came in, and Jon said it was my turn. So, Catherine saved, and went to my file and clicked on it to go to it. Except, as you KHers know, that's not how it works from the save menu. gonk So, I started over, got to Atlantica, and I must've turned the PS2 off too fast or something, because my data became corrupted. I started a new game, but my heart wasn't in it and I gave the game back to the friend. A week or two later, we came back from my dad's one evening and KH WAS THERE. biggrin DD So, I decided to start another game, and I was cruising through the worlds, making sure to level. My sisters got to Hollow Bastion. I was there. :'DDD They died several times, but eventually beat Riku, beat Malleficent with ease, beat the dragon, and were at Riku/Ansem. So, before I left for here, we were both at the same part. So, I was really excited. Mom gave the phone to her, and she informed me the storyline, (I already knew) and I learned sometime during the conversation, I think before, with Mom, that JON HAD BOUGHT KH2. biggrin DD So, I made Catherine swear she wouldn't play it until she beat the game. Darnit, I should have made her promise I was there first. DDD: Hopefully she'll be nice.
So, that's what I've been doing. I haven't died. x3
I'll bet you this won't go on a single entry. Lessee.
