I'm writing another journal entry.

It's nothing much but tomorrow I have a drug test for a new job I got. It's remote and it's mostly data entry, I assume? I'm a little nervous but I'm sure it'll be much better than working for customer service.

I have like, 6 years of experience from working at a grocery store and I even had to lie that I've never worked remote before because I have but I lasted for 3 months.

It was a call center job where I had to pretend that I cared about how the elderly felt and what they had to say while helping them.

There are a lot of irritable and lonely old people.

It was an RxE Advisor position where I'd take inbound calls and help the elderly with Humana insurance get their refills and s**t.

Very depressing job. There was a lot of verbal abuse. Plus, I also quit to take care of my very ill mother at the time ad because it was hard to concentrate. (May she rest in peace.)

I miss her a lot. Being her caregiver has taught me a lot about life and to enjoy it. It also taught me to take are of myself because my mother didn't. She passed away at the age of 58 which is a very young age.
