Alone

My heart is empty,
My soul is barren,
My head is full of lies.
My body's cold,
And so is yours,
I saw it in your eyes.
But I can tell,
When sunlight fades,
And when the day is through.
I'll be happy,
Resting easy,
'Cause I'll be with you.
