Below the earth
deep in the darkest shadow
a demon creeps up
a heart made of ice
a touch so cold
slowly he escapes
from the ground below
he is here among us
he lives with fear
he knows no limit
drowned in sorrow
and of hate he grows stronger
day by day he waits
day by day he becomes more powerful
day by day he dies inside
cold like ice
his heart hides away
frozen emotions
frozen body
frozen mind
He is neither heartless
or unknown of his actions
there he is
there he waits
there she comes
he is captivated by
a beauty so rare
to love
to hate
to smile
This heart of ice,
no longer in his grasp
he is melting inside
he is slowing living
he is at peace
