HRUHG i rly wanted to stay at my old job at least until the beginning of november when i start this call center one but a big part of my stress rn is that corporate has been ****** us over for the last like idk 8 months? change and product shortages were universal but we were expected to preform with the same level of productivity. we have been understaffed because we're not allowed to hire or schedule enough ppl to cover our busiest hours and they keep promoting OLD items that they chose to take off the menu and capping our purchase of product limit to less and less money so we're regularly running out and having to send ppl to other stores for small amounts of stock to try and get us through til delivery. the regional manager goes through spells of lecturing us about time, employee hours and inventory use but we're still in the top 20 most profitable stores in the US despite his bitching. the new assistant manager CONSTANTLY makes excuses for him and corporate and more than any other previous AM before her, everyone LOATHES her. all of that headache was excusable simply because every other co-worker i have there is wonderful. they're great people, and i consider them all my friends, so i wanted to at least put in my two-week and stay until after the corporate auditors are expected to come around, even though i am doing 8 hours of training for the next 3 weeks for the new job. the problem is that customers have been getting progressively less and less patient, despite our average sales and times being the same as it's always been. i'm not often bothered by rude customers, i know that i'm doing my best and my bosses agree that i'm very reliable, fast and accurate, but i just can't deal with 4-5 hours of sleep AND bitchy, entitled, rich mother ****. maybe my GM would agree to shorter hours for the next couple of weeks, but i can't image so because many of our new hires are teens that also can't stay on the clock that late. most of the adults are already managers that work an average of 8 or more hours, there's not really anyone that is able to be scheduled the block of hours that i usually am.
