*sigh*
Why is it that the only way for me to get money is to stand at a window with a headset on asking people if they'd like peanuts with their sundaes, or ketchup with their fries?
I've got a nineties average in school, work experience, excellent references...and I'm working at McDonalds. stare
It's really not a bad job all things considered. The hours I get are just sort of irritating.
For example, I work 8pm-11pm tonight, and then have to walk home alone in the dark on one of the busiest streets in the city, and then Tomorrow I work 9am-130pm, and AGAIN at like 7pm-11pm (someone can't make it, I'm filling in), and then Sunday I work 7am-1130am. A 7am shift means getting up at 5:30...and this after I've worked until 11pm for the past two nights eek
It didn't help that today I had to go pick up my paycheck, so if I count today, I will have been inside McDonalds 5 times in a three day weekend. Walk there...walk home...walk there and work for 3 hours...walk home...walk there and work for 4.5 hours...walk home...walk bakc and work for 3.5 hours...walk home...walk there and work for 4.5 hours...walk home.
There and back again...and again..and again.
On the bright side, I only work Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday next week. This means I have both Friday and Wednesday off, so I can use Wednesday to do my weekly volunteering at the seniors home (just starting) and then enjoy Friday night. xd
