jkdlsjgakdfg finally got my parents and their RV off the property this morning. came back to the hotel and took a nap. after a few hours, i got a call from dad because the power company they're with called and said that they would be there soon to cut the lights, and he wanted someone to be there to make sure they knew that we wanted it fully disconnected, not just turned off. the organizer fella from DRC was there already, and we sat down, i gave him a snack and some water, we talked for nearly an hour about how bullshit capitalist structures have ****** everybody over and he was very cool. at first he said that he considers himself a democrat, and as we got deeper into the convo he said that's he's actually more of a marxist but ppl in our surrounding area usually react very poorly to that. great chat, but the **** power company never showed up after telling my folks they'd be there soon TWICE. so demolition didn't get done today. i was worried that would throw a kink in everything, but the DRC guy said it's just an inconvenience. he was more worried that the GLO only gave me about two months in the hotel, but i let him know that i have other options to stay with friends if it's not all done by the time the booking runs out. so, no big deal, although it's real frustrating. i'm just glad we're all out with the things that are most important to us, and i can take a break finally. next week i think i'm gonna start going to the hotel's gym.
