I was sitting down just reading a manga when a girl came over to me and asked me how life is like married to a rock star. As soon as she asked me I knew straight away that she was a diru fan. I smiled, I didn’t want to seem rude so I told her that being married to a rock star has its upside downs. When she went, a whole load of fan girls came rushing over to me. I was shocked but was relived when two body guards came and stood in front of me. When the fan girls went, the body guards went to guard the backstage door.
So as I was reading the manga, another fan girl came over to me and asked me how I met kauro. She also asked me how she could get her own rock star. I found that quite funny, but didn’t laugh. I didn’t know how to answer her question, but luckily the fan girl was told to step away. I got into the backstage and saw kauro sitting there with a cheeky grin on his face. I walked over to him and gave him a kiss. I don’t know what it was, but he was sure was happy. He then pulled me to sit on him.
While I was sitting on his lap, the other members of diru were ooing and awing. I couldn’t help but blush. When we –meaning me and the band members got home, I couldn’t help but think about what that fan girl asked me.
The way I met kauro was, I was at one of their live shows with a couple of friends. While kauro lot were performing I couldn’t help but ogle on kauro. I kept thinking about how cute he was. When he noticed me ogling him, I quickly looked away and blushed. He saw me blush and smiled. A couple of performances went. And then they had a little message for person from crowd. I quietened down and heard Kyo and Die telling the whole crowd that there was someone who just turned 29. I looked at my friends and saw them smiling. I gave them a huge hug. The whole crowd were asking who it was, until the spotlight shun on me. I tried to hide behind my friend, but then kauro came over and held out his hand.
I held his hand and got up on the stage. He walked me over to the others and they told the crowd that after 3 they had to sing happy birthday to me. I couldn’t help but blush more. Kauro held my hand and they all started to sing happy birthday to me. Once that was ended they all gave me a hug and while I hugged kauro he told me to bring my friends to backstage and collect my birthday gift. At this point I couldn’t believe that I hugged the members of diru!.
Once the show was ended every fan girl was giving me weird looks, but I didn’t let it get to me. So anyway, me and my friends walked up to the backstage door and told the bodyguards that diru told us to come. As I walked in, I automatically looked around the room for kauro. He walked out of a door and was in his trousers but with no top on. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. We greeted each other and then Die told me and my friends to take a seat.
My friend Natalie sat next to Toshiya; who was her favourite member of the band, my other friend ayumi sat next to Kyo, where as me…I sat next to kauro. I couldn’t stop smiling, they told us to wait, and that they would come back. When they DID come back, they had 1 big present and another small one. Small present. I was shocked. Shinya gave me the big present and told me that this one was from the whole gang. I unwrapped it and saw that he gave me some diru goodies. I smiled and said thank you. I put on the diru shirt and then saw kauro smile. He walked over to me and gave me the second present. When I opened it he told me that, that present was just something from him. I smiled at him and then looked inside the envelope. Once I looked inside I saw a couple of tickets inside.
I looked up at kauro and said thank you. We hugged each other again, but then it was time to go home. I didn’t want to go home, but I knew I had to. As we got into the car I couldn’t stop thinking about kauro. I looked at my friends and hugged them again. “Ahhh thank you soooo much for this!!!! I love you guys so much!” is all I could say to them.
A few days past, and as I was sitting in my living room, I switched the TV on and switched it on to HEYHEYHEY. While I was watching I thought Gackt would be the special guest, seeing as he’s always on that show, but it turned out that kauro lot were the special guests. While I was watching the show, I could tell that the presenter was talking about the concert just a few days ago. I didn’t know that someone was video-taping the whole concert…and then as I was watching it, I saw the part where kauro got me up onto the stage.
Although the two presenters saw what happened they couldn’t help tease kauro by asking him if that was his girlfriend. Kauro laughed but didn’t reply back. I kept on watching what the presenter would ask seeing as they were STILL talking bout me and him. They were asking him question like if he would see me again and when. Kauro didn’t want to answer so Shinya just told the two presenters that that is how they act with their fan girls.
It was around half past nine, when my and friends decided to go to a club. So once we got to the club, my friends weren’t into the “dancing” mood, but I knew I’d get them to dance sooner or later. Anyways, we got inside and sat down in the corner. I asked Natalie and Ayumi what they wanted to drink. Once they told me I went up to the counter and ordered the drinks. I had to wait for a minute to get the drinks, so while I was waiting I looked around and saw a VIP area. I didn’t know who was there, but when I squinted my eyes I saw kauro and the guys. Ayumi quickly sat down and looked embarrassed. I laughed at her and then dragged her to the dance floor.
She didn’t want to dance, but I soon got her into the mood. While we were dancing kauro couldn’t stop looking my way. I didn’t notice this but however Ayumi did. Once we finished we sat back down on our seats and then started talking. While we were talking kauro and the others walked over to the door and were about to “leave”. I looked up and saw them. “Oh hey girls” Die greeted us. I looked up and saw the whole gang. I looked at kauro first and then at Die, “what you guys doing here?” kauro asked while looking at me. “Ayumi and Natalie wanted to come check this place out” I replied.
Kauro just nodded. “Hey….do you girls mind if we join you?” kauro asked. Natalie and Ayumi looked at me to see my reaction. “No…go ahead” I told him and smiled. Kauro smiled back and sat next to me. I didn’t believe it, he sat next to ME!. While he was sitting next to me I didn’t want to act like those rabid fan girls, so I tried to keep cool.
Die and the others kept teasing me and Kauro.
As the second tour of dir en grey was just around the corner I was too excited, that I acted like a rabid fan girl. Ayumi and Natalie didn’t know what to do but they just kept telling me that if kauro saw me act like this he would be scared. I found that funny, and thought that they were right.
When the concert came, I knew this time I didn’t have a chance to go meet kauro backstage. So while I was watching kauro and the others perform, I could tell that the fan girls were talking about me. When they started to perform cage, I sang with them. They had one last song to perform and then it was time to go home. When they finished performing Cage, they started to perform ash. Again like the other concert I couldn’t stop looking at kauro, but he didn’t mind.
Once the performance was over, everyone was rushing to the backstage door; I wanted to see the band again so I walked up to the other fan girls. While I was waiting for the bodyguards to let us in, all the fan girls were talking about me. One of them even asked another whether I was kauro’s girlfriend or not. “No one is allowed to come except for….”the body guard started off. He then started to look at all the fan girls “….you three” he continued and pointed at me and my friends.
All the fan girls were all looking at me and my friends as if they were out to kill us. So as we walked into the room and Die, Kyo, Totchi, and Shinya. I couldn’t see kauro anywhere, but then Die looked at me and said “he’s in the restroom he’ll be out in a minute”, I blushed like 10 shades of red. Kyo looked at the three of us and told us to take a seat. I sat down and looked around. When I looked around I saw kauro come out with just his trousers on. He didn’t know that I and my friends were there. When I saw him I blushed even more, he looked at Die who was smirking, his reaction was O.O. “uh….hi” is all I could say. Kauro got his shirt and put it on. “Hi” he replied and sat down next to die and messed his hair up.
The other members of diru sat next down in a circle and started asking us questions like where are we from and who our favourite member from diru is. When it was time for me to answer I told them that I was from Okinawa and my favourite member was kauro. When I told them this kauro looked at me and smiled. I blushed a little and smiled back.
An hour past and it was time for us to leave. Before we went, kauro told us to stop. The others all quickly looked at him like they were surprised. I chuckled at that moment; anyways me; Natalie and Ayumi stopped and looked back. Kauro started to blush and started to fidget with his hands. “I was wondering….whether or not you would like to grab a drink sometime” he asked me. I blushed so much I could feel my cheeks burning. The rest started chuckling, that however made me blush even more, and “uh…uh….s-s-sh” I couldn’t talk properly because I went so shy! Natalie looked at kauro and said “what she means is sure”.
Kauro smiled and then quickly said “could I have your number?”. I asked him for a piece of paper and then wrote my number down and gave it to him.
After that me, Natalie and Ayumi went back to our apartment. “Oh my god! Did kauro just ask for your number?? And if you wanted to go out with him?” Ayumi asked me trying to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. “Yes he asked for my number and he didn’t ask me out…he just asked if I would like to grab a drink with him” I replied while getting into the apartment. Natalie chuckled “yea a date! And when he calls you, are you going to say yes?” she said. I just looked at Natalie.
I walked to my bedroom and plopped on my bed. While I was in my room I looked at my wardrobe and saw the gifts that kauro and the gang gave me. I got up and walked to Natalie’s room. When I opened her door I saw Ayumi sitting on Natalie’s bed. “If he phones…..im gonna say yea” I told her. Ayumi quickly looked at me “are you?” she asked. I smiled and nodded.
They both got off the bed and ran to me “that’s awesome!” they both squealed. I got scared when they squealed but that wasn’t all they did, they hugged me and started jumping!. Anyways a week went past and I received a call from kauro. This is how the call went:
Kauro: sorry for not calling earlier its just I never had time to get to call you.
Me: it’s ok, so how you been?
Kauro: I’ve been good a bit busy what about you?
Me: im good thanks
Kauro: good good. So I was wondering when you would like to grab that drink…
Me: um….it depends on you
Kauro: seeing as im free tomorrow, would you like to go then?
Me: yea sure….wait but you don’t know where I live…I mean…how are we going to meet each other?
Kauro: *chuckles* I’ll have someone collect you…but I need to know where you live.
Me: oh yea…um….I live at the Tokyo hotel and its room 905.
While I was talking to him I heard footsteps. (Back to the phone call)
Me: kauro I’ll see you tomorrow I have to go now so see you tomorrow bye.
Kauro: oke bye.
Once the phone call ended, I quickly put my phone away and looked up at Ayumi and Natalie. “Who were you taking to?....was it kauro?” Natalie teased me. Ayumi laughed. Ayumi sat down next to me “well….was it him?” she asked. I looked at her and smiled. Ayumi reaction changed from a smirk to a surprised look. “Really?!” she asked. I nodded my head, and got stuck into a tight hug. “Um…ayumi...i...I…c-cant breath”. I struggled to say.
The next day came and I was so nervous. It was around mid-afternoon when somebody came and knocked on the door. I quickly ran to my room to get changed, but I didn’t know what to wear, so I got Ayumi to get the door and told Natalie to help me choose what to wear.
When Ayumi opened the door, she saw a man with a black suit and hat on. “Koni is Maaria-Chan ready?” he asked. Ayumi didn’t answer, but luckily I came out in time. “Yes im ready” I told him. I looked at Ayumi and Natalie and smiled, they smiled back and as I was about to close the door they shouted “HAVE FUN!”. I blushed in front of the man who came to pick me up.
Once we got to the car park I saw a black limo. I couldn’t believe it…this was going to my first time ever to sit in a limo. I looked up at my apartment window and saw Ayumi and Natalie looking, but what I didn’t know was, kauro was standing next to the door looking at me. I looked around saw him. “h-hi kauro” I replied trying not to blush.
“Hey Maaria, shall we go?” he asked while opening the door of the limo.
As he opened the door he smiled at me and waited for me to get inside the limo. I smiled back and got in. when he got in the car, we were sitting quite close to each other. While we were in the limo, we were talking about our favourite diru songs.
When we got to the place kauro got out of the car and let me out. “Here we are” he told me and smiled. I smiled back at him and let him lead me into the building. As the first 45 minutes of our little “date” we were talking about our favourite movies and songs. Once the date thing was over, kauro dropped me home. Once we got to the apartment block, he walked me up to my apartment and before I went in, he stopped me. “Maaria I just wanna say that I had a great time today” he told me. I smiled and said “me too”, he smiled back “good” he replied. As he was gonna say something, his phone rang. He picked up his phone and answered it. “Hello” he greeted the person. “Kauro…..when you coming home?” the other person on the call asked him. “Why you guys missing me?” he teased. “No but are you coming home now?” the other person asked. “Yea I am” kauro replied. The call was ended and kauro looked at me, “Sorry about that, it was one of the guys asking when I’d be home” kauro told me. I just nodded my head and smiled.
Kauro leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek and said “I’d like to do this again some time”. I blushed and smiled “Me too” I replied. While we were just outside, Ayumi and Natalie opened the door a bit and were listening to our conversation. “Well… I gotta go so see you again soon” kauro told me and walked off. “Bye” I replied and waved kauro looked back and waved back. As I got into my apartment, Ayumi and Natalie were ooing and awing. I shook my head and walked into the room. “Oh Maaria…I had a great time” Ayumi started off and then started making kissing noises. Natalie joined in and said “Oh me too kauro” she then started to laugh. I chuckled and walked into my room.
After a few months me and kauro started to go on dates, Ayumi and Natalie weren’t really surprised because they knew from the start that this was going to happen. And then two and a half years later, he proposed to me and I said yes.
