So, yeah. I've come upstairs to the PC for a journal entry, since there's better things (i.e. this) I could spend my time on than watching Portugal and England sporadically poke each other's eyes out and the like. Yes, I've been supporting England, since I'm English, but not with great passion. If they've won a match, I've had a 'Well, good' moment, but to be honest I wouldn't throw a fit if Portugal knocked them out, despite the fact Ronaldo and a few other Portuguese players have been playing like little bitches. The sooner England get knocked out, the sooner the local pubs are inhabited by normal people again.
Anyway, exam week finished a while back. ^^
My spanish speaking was a bit juddery, but I got all the right vocab, and did the different tenses correctly, so I suppose that's my redemption for pausing quite a lot in it. My german speaking was ace, so nothing to complain about there. Had a fun chat with Ms. Schafer afterwards. And the final half of my art was good, even though I was a bit pushed for time. As it happened, the GCSE-style science one we had wasn't all that trying, either.
Nothing else to report really, aside from the speculations sparked from eon8. It caught people's attention at the time, and it was interesting to find out what it really was, but that's all I'm going to say on it. It's a bit like KT Tunstall music for me, at the moment - it's everywhere, people keep discussing it, it's a nice talking point, but enough's enough. I mean, if something similar happens in the future, we can go 'Hey yeah! It's like that E8 thing! That was creepy/interesting/fun! I was there...', but it just seems nobody's got anything better to talk about right now... most of the threads are dying off, so I suppose the novelty's wearing off for some other people, as well.
I might actually going and check the outcome of the football now, the ridiculous amount of extra time's finished and we're into penalties.
Edit: Oh, we lost. Whoops. x3; Ok, England regains all sense of propriety again.
