~Trapped Within My Mind~
I walk along these lonely sreets,
Trapped here in my mind.
I've created my own prison,
Here within my mundane bind.


My soul cannot be freed,
And even as I sit here crying,
I know the world around me,
The world out there, is dying.


My mind wanders,
And my heart bleeds.
My existance renders,
All others to scream.


I curl up in my bed,
wrapped tight within the sheets.
My sister walks into the room,
And her scream eachoes through me,
From my head down to my feet.


She's seen the bright red color,
Of the sheets wrapped tight around me.
She runs into the living room,
My death has taken its fee.


I can hear my mother screaming,
my sister out there crying,
knowing there's nothing they can do,
as I lay in my bed dying.


I think about the past,
here in my last moments;
It all flies by so fast,
And now I lay here with my torments.


My world slips away,
and I no longer hear them.
My thoughts begin to sway,
as I lay stuck here in my prison.


Even in death, they won't let me be.
I wish these thoughts were never mine;
And now I'm trapped here in my bind;
Trapped within my mind.
