Silver Embrace
Under the stars,
So still, and so calm.
I don't know where you are,
Finally I see you're too far-gone.
Your eyes are wide, and clouded,
Full of sadness and full of love.
They were once shrouded,
But no more, as you rise high above.
The moon, it smiles,
As arms carry you away from me.
Taking you a thousand miles,
So far, I can't see.
The love it shows,
Revealing a silver face.
The touch no one knows,
The wonderful silver embrace.
When you die,
You die with all but grace.
As the ones who live cry,
As you're carried far away.
You disappear,
Yet there lays your face.
Cradled, with no tears,
In that simple silver embrace.

What is paradise?
Is it the Utopia everyone dreams of?
Is it the fictional world we all wished we lived in?
Is it the place where angels fly?
Where one can reach and touch the sky?
What is paradise?
Is it the place we call earth?
Where we sentence others to death to prove a point?
Is it where we take children away at birth?
Is it the place where war is justified?
Where the senseless killing of others is authorized?
where outcomes only further political agenda's?
Where savages are out on murderous vendetta's?
What is paradise?
Is it the place where children are raped?
Where nights are trecherous, where nothing is safe?
Is it the world left askew?
violence, death, never ending
No hope for me or for you.
Ask youself, what is paradise?
Certainly it isn't this world!
A place full of injustice, hate, and fraud!
Where there is no choice but to live where we've been hurled
Certainly you don't mean this place
where none of us are safe
Where hundreds die, and thousands starve
where people shoot you and blow up cars
where no place is safe from attack
where there is no way to turn or look back.
If this is our PARADISE...
Then paradise is hell!
There is no joy, only death!
There is no love, only death!
Where there should be homes,
there is a wasteland full of bones.

Steel The Night
No one understands her
the things she does
do not matter
she is forgotten by all
she is ignored all day
the only times she feels alive is when she falls.
In her dreams she pretends to die
in her heart, her soul will cry
in her eyes, she will reach for the sky.
In her hands she holds the means
cold and dead, of all conceivable things!
With just one swipe
she will steel the night
red will flow
and best off all...
NO ONE WILL KNOW.
The tears, held back
they do not fall
for resolve she doesn't lack
only she could have made this call.
In one foul swoop
her life will disappear
her soul will fly the coop
and you won't care.
