Well, my mom wasn't supposed to have money until the third, and I guess she's got it now. I'm kinda disappointed because she told me we'd do something for my birthday when she had money. But, honestly, I don't see us doing anything. I mean, I'm not meaning to be greedy, but she kinda got my hopes up. So far, the most I've gotten for my birthday from my family was a pair of new shoes, and since my last pair were literally falling apart, they were kind of a necessity.
That's $17 on my birthday. I'll take what I can get, I guess. She's actually at the store right now with my brother. So I may come to regret writing all this and being disappointed. But oh well.
Still haven't gotten any money for my computer. But I don't think I actually expected any donations. I'll leave the link up for those who want to possibly donate or share it. I'm sure I'll find a way to make da moonies, with or without donations.
I've been thinking about going back to writing some. I've always enjoyed writing, and I always thought I had a knack for it. I remember at my graduation, my 8th grade social studies teacher helped me win an essay contest. She also helped spur my writing skills into something more profound and special. I learned to appreciate them for what they were worth.
Maybe if I start writing again to pass the time before classes start, everyone who reads just might be able to get a glimpse into a work by me. I honestly need to write more. Rather than just sitting and watching anime all day, but I do enjoy my anime... a lot.
Anyway, I think that's all for today. I'll let everyone know if my family comes back with presents. Then I'll apologize for my rant. LOL
