The doctor had the audacity to tell me I could work in construction again in spite of the pain. Because fibromyalgia isn't a physical disease. I really wanted to tell her to ******** off with that s**t. I didn't give up my job for no god damned reason. I LOVED my work, and was only two years away from making journeyman. I had a great little niche carved out for myself... I could do things not even my boss knew how to do. I didn't give that s**t up... it was taken from me, and for some freaking idiot to sit there and tell me I could do construction again is the stupidest thing I've heard in a LONG time!
