	"If you have a problem..."
	"If you have a problem..."


So, sitting in second period of Philosophy today...and, my teacher, Mr. Pullar (great man...always has a story to tell whenever you ask him a question ^^), says something that got me thinking... "If you have a problem, look for a solution. If you can't find a solution, you don't have a problem, you have a fact, and you have to learn to live with it." I'm pretty sure some Philosopher said that...or Mr. Pullar...I'm not too sure...but, anyways...to me, he's damn right. Lately I've been connecting everything to my mum's death, so, I did that with this too: My mum died. If this is a problem, then it has a solution. The only possible solution, for me, is for my mum to be alive again. This is impossible, therefore my problem has no logical solution. Seeing as I cannot find a solution, it is not a problem, but a fact...one I must learn to live with. 	Forgive me for going all psychiatrist on you but a few years of watching Frasier has taught me this. When something like this happens, those affected go through a period of transition where they have to get used to their new situation. In order to help along with this transition, I've heard that it would be a good idea to keep some photos of your mum around the house and this will help you adjust to your new circumstances. Being a Christian, I take comfort in the belief that when people like my family die, they go on to live somewhere else and are always watching me and so they're never really gone.
