Sinking slowly into the shimmering abyss June 15, 2006, 10:23:pm
Shadows scream in my ears
Beasts of so many nightmares
Ripping at my skin
Grinning and laughing
The wounds made on numb flesh
Are quickly forgotten as I sink
Back in to the deepest Regions of this place
Into a place Most fear to tread
Into Insanity
The black chaos of shifting smoke and shadow
A place beneath the graves
Of those lost to the shimmering trap
Where the true beast lurks
Far Past the grip of Hunters
In a place only the true monsters can reach
Face to face with it again
A Black tooth grin greets me
Back in the heart of the darkness
Back in the shadow of Doubt that keeps me from peace
My heaven and hell
Face to face with my truest truth
Face to face with it which I feign to hunt
Face to face with the Best of the worst
The beast from which I’ve learned so much
