There was this old guy that commented on how he doesn’t understand why adults are into a kids game. And I thought to myself, there must be a lot of older folks that think the same thing. It's fine to not get the appeal of it, but they forget that Pokemon was first broadcast in the United States on September 8, 1998. Majority of those adults that are playing Pokemon Go now were kids (or teenagers) at the time.
Pokemon was extremely popular and successful that when they released an handheld video game of it, it became the second most sold game in the world. The first being Mario. Just because those kids eventually grow up, that doesn’t mean that their inner child dies.
Fun Fact: On September 8, 1998 I was 9 years old and it was also my birthday.
