exiled maiden in pain,
nailed unto the cross,
desoled and unclothed,
falling from her new pains,
and with death now, betrothed;
razor-wire to ankles,
bound skin-tight to rapt flesh,
her face bore no pain,
the people all come to watch,
as she's burned at the cross,
no screams of pain pour out from her mouth,
her wounds so deep,salted to increase her duress,
this choice she has made,
now surly her last,
great spikes to inner elbows,
to hold up her arms,
the public throws nothing whilst heads hang in lament,
doused in fire-feed,
her last ride an up-turned cross,
her undertaker strikes the tinders,
to bring her to flames,
afire she falls,
the only source of light on this most eerie night,
she smiles one last time,
as she burns away.....
