i had to write this one for school
A bustling town called Pompeii
Going about its usual business
People selling food and fabrics
And living their normal lives.
The mountain named Vesuvius
Starts to sprout gray smoke
Small stones start to fall
So light, they float on water.
Larger rocks start to fall from the column
Killing people from the town
The cloud of smoke covers the sun
Clasping the people in darkness.
The column collapses
The cloud falls to the Earth
Covering everything in ash
Killing anyone near.
