On the fourth of July I spent it with my sister, her boyfriend and his parents. We were in New York and it was pretty cool. It did rain but it stopped towards the evening and many were happy about that. It would have ruin many people’s firework plans. Anyway, we had a barbecue with hotdogs, burgers, Greek kabob sandwiches, etc. It was all tasty!
We didn’t stay for the night though, we had a long drive home. Plus, my sister had work the next day and the sooner we left the better. But before we went we stopped at China Town which was pretty much a couple of blocks away. We enter a store that sold a lot of Asian things. I had a field day, I got a bunch of stuff and will be writing reviews on majority of them.
A bowl with a cat design (It’s perfect for ramen)
A Lucky Cat tea cup
Stainless Steel Tea Pot
Jasmine Tea (Loose Leaf Tea)
Green Tea — 10 Flavor Variety Pack (Tea Bags)
2 Pocky — Regular and Strawberry Flavor
Hi-Chew Candy
3 Gummy Candy — Pineapple, Strawberry and Grape
Triko Bear Fruit Jelly
Sapporo Ichiban and Nissin ramen
Saya Snowpea Crisps
Mochi Rice Cake Daifuku (I’m guessing the flavor is a pear?)
Luckily, we manage to get stuff there before the store closed and we were on out way home. I manage to capture some nice photos of the sunset and a bit of fireworks. But honesty, there were only a few shots that were good. It was hard to get pictures while in a moving car and the ones I did get ended up missing the firework. But either way, it was a pretty cool experience.
