Dear Journal,
Friday, April 21, 2006, My ex-boyfriend of a little over a year asked me out again. We broke up on Sunday, October 13, 2003 (after a night in the hospital due to sickness) because of long distance complications. Here lately I had been seeing him a lot, because he's back "home" from college. Being with him again made me realize how much I missed him; But, I didn't say anything because I knew he was in a relationship with another woman.
He was my first real love! (I say "first real love" because before him I was in a relationship of four years, but that ended horribly.) We ended on a good note, thank God, and were still friends... but the distance was starting to get to me too. I was really trying so hard for our relationship: but I was a firstime driver, and part-time worker for a needy- only one day a week off job, and had a very over protective grandmother. There were so many elements that kept us apart! I just hope we can get over those bumps.
I'm scared this will end up like it did before, but I'm happy we're back together at the same time! Maybe it's just me, but I've got a million emotions running through me right now that it's clouding my judgement. We'll just have to talk this time and work everything out. I don't want another relationship I know is going to fail! I've been hurt enough. But I know this time will be different, we've both matured!
