I woke up in the grey.
Amber leaves falling fast and the air is stale.
Too thick to breathe like smoke behind a locked door.
Silent like some nightmare manifestation.
Brought on by the innocent passage of time and ticking of clocks.
Hard rain. Cold days. Cold in every way.
The Winter this year will start from within.
There's no hope of being warm again.
I look at the sky, feel the chill coming fast.
I'm spiteful at the seasons.
I'm a bratty child like that.
