Tuesday, April 11th, 2006. I was in a car accident with my mom. She was driving down a road, which has been dubbed one of the most dangerous roads in the US, (a study was done and it came in #4,) when this dolt in her SUV decided she'd turn into the Home Depo. parking lot right infront of us when we had the right of way. My mom pretty much totalled the car. However, injuries are minor. She broke her pinkie; and I out did her and broke three metacarpals, just in time for my sweet sixteen. Needless to say, I'm miserable. And I'm on my period, which should have came two weeks ago, but I think was waiting so that no matter what, the one and only day that's all about me is ruined.
Ofcourse I'm no attention whore, and definately no bimbo girly girl, but I was pretty damn psyched bout this party. I need surgery otherwise it won't heal right. I'll have permanent screws in my right hand and scars on where they cut me. Recovery time is six weeks, in a cast.
Right now the tone of my writing is very dry and straight foward. I just wanted to keep the person who glances at my journal once in a blue moon posted.
On the bright side, I just got my hair dyed, did my make up and shaved before the accident. So I looked hot while I broke my bones. biggrin
I could have been worse, and as agnostic as I am, ther was a higher being looking over me, making sure I would walk away with only a few broken bones.
