Traitor
In an endless battle
Never to be won
A fight for true rights is raging
Freedom is the goal
Yet death could be the curse
Outwitting the enemy
That's the trick
But the enemy is inside
Full of your pride
To conquer it is impossible
It knows your thoughts
Your true intentions
You're foolish to even mention
Yet the beast knows
How to twist and turn
Fool and burn
So you cower in the darkness
But it's there
Sucking up all the air
Eating at the flesh
Making it like mesh
Laughing menacingly at your fear
Because you can't steer clear
Devouring your soul
Making you grow cold
Shivering in the darkness
No way to fight the madness.
